Opportunity Overview

We are on the lookout for a Facilities Management Supervisor to ensure exceptional service delivery for a significant social housing project by effectively coordinating, managing, and overseeing subcontractor performance in the provision of facility management services. This position is designed to ensure the safe, timely, and client-satisfactory execution of all necessary tasks, adhering to both Programmed Facility Management (PFM) and client quality benchmarks. This is a permanent, full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering facility management services and contributing to essential community services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee professional service delivery that meets client expectations.
  • Provide updates on work progress and start dates to clients and service teams.
  • Oversee project management from initial planning through to completion.
  • Monitor project status and track expenditures against budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure safe, successful, and profitable project outcomes.
  • Evaluate OH&S resources and requirements prior to the commencement of work.
  • Communicate work specifications, plans, and timelines to team members.
  • Facilitate the prompt resolution of site-related issues while promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, you should possess experience in building trades/services or facilities management (or a related field) in a supervisory, managerial, or planning/scheduling capacity. A proactive attitude, natural talent for engaging with people, and a commitment to outstanding service delivery are essential.

Additionally, you should demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Desirable trade qualifications and/or FM experience.
  • Proven knowledge of building and construction practices is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
