About Our Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Regional NSW - Port Macquarie & Mid North Coast. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $120,500.00-$142,500.00 p.a.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering essential primary healthcare services within a secure correctional environment as part of a multidisciplinary team. About Your Responsibilities

You will conduct comprehensive primary health assessments and develop patient care plans. You will manage acute and chronic physical health conditions, administer medications and treatments in line with clinical guidelines, and respond to medical emergencies and deliver urgent care when required.

You will provide health education on disease prevention and self-care, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes, and maintain accurate records and documentation.

About Your Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor of Nursing and unrestricted AHPRA registration. You will also require minimum 23 years of post-graduate experience in acute or primary healthcare (within the last 5 years).

You should have a background in Primary Health, Rural or Emergency Nursing, current CPR (HLTAID009 or equivalent) and First Aid, experience using electronic health record systems, and Advanced Life Support certification.

It would be advantageous to have recognition as a Nurse Immuniser (NSW) and skills in phlebotomy, cannulation, suturing, application of back slabs, etc.
