Job Role Overview:

The role of a Nurse Midwife involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in line with registration standards and guidelines.

You will promote continuous improvement and evidence-based practice, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-standard nursing care in consultation with the healthcare team and patients.
  • Provide safe, holistic, and customer-focused patient care, ensuring accurate documentation and timely implementation of medical treatment orders.
  • Assess health education needs for patients and carers, providing effective communication and respect for confidentiality.

With recent clinical experience and a commitment to personal and professional development, you will contribute to a dynamic multidisciplinary team that prioritizes patient care and well-being.

Key Requirements:
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Midwife.
  • Recent clinical experience in an acute care environment.
  • Well-developed skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving.
