Event Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced event specialist to join our team. As an event specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing enterprise-wide events, including customer-facing events, conventions, exhibits, and symposia.

About the Role:

  • Manage and execute customer-facing events, including conceptualization, stakeholder management, budget management, and delivery.
  • Develop and implement conventions, exhibits, and/or symposia that align with our business objectives.
  • Assist in managing internal events, including enterprise-wide conferences and kick-off meetings.
  • Collaborate with the creative team on creating impactful graphics and digital media for events.
  • Negotiate with and manage external vendors for events.
  • Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in event and convention management.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office suite of software, including Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Cvent attendee management advantage but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver successful events.
  • Solutions-focused with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with good organisation and time-management skills, including working independently and unsupervised.
