Customer Service Representative Job Description

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and support.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing superb service to our expanding customer base and enhancing the experience for our customers. You will establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, efficiently upload, process, and handle customer sales orders, and expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

You will also manage responses to promotional campaigns, schedule regular calls, and coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments. Additionally, you will supply reports to management on customer needs, feedback, problems, interests, competitive activity, and potential for new products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Efficiently upload, process, and handle customer sales orders
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Manage responses to promotional campaigns
  • Schedule regular calls and coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Supply reports to management on customer needs, feedback, problems, interests, competitive activity, and potential for new products and services

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in sales, upselling, and cross-selling and needs-based sales
  • High drive for KPIs and profitable outcomes
  • Excellent literacy, communication, and numeracy skills
  • Confident, competent, and welcoming as a first point of contact
