Your primary focus will be on driving customer engagement, achieving our ambitious business goals, and ensuring our digital products remain at the forefront of innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify critical customer journeys and implement strategies to improve them, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to navigate challenges and deliver exceptional design solutions.
  • Drive end-to-end experiences, ensuring the creation of consistent and thoughtful customer experiences for Kmart and Target online shoppers.
  • Identify and improve customer journeys, working across functions to implement strategies that enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Support digital trade activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to make necessary changes to the website and apps.
  • Innovate and experiment, leading the development and implementation of new capabilities to keep our digital products competitive and user-friendly.
  • Advocate for customer-centricity, promoting a customer-centric culture across the organization.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role, with a strong background in retail and customer-facing products or services.
  • Experience in digital design for e-commerce is highly regarded.
  • Exposure to end-to-end design processes, from research and discovery through to delivery and measurement.
  • Experience with human-centered design processes and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a high-activity environment with competing priorities and time pressures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate with influence.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills are essential.
