Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Research Specialist to perform manual and automated diagnostic testing, assist with stock control, and maintain current scientific knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine procedures from specimen reception to result execution for pathological diagnosis
  • Assist with inventory management and stay up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to process improvements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in a multidisciplinary laboratory environment, including biochemistry, haematology, and blood bank
  • Strong knowledge of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting principles
  • Ability to identify and implement quality and service improvement initiatives
