Job Overview:

The role of Site Manager is critical in delivering high-profile commercial and high-rise projects across Sydney.

  • Manage site operations for window wall façade installations to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and schedule standards.
  • Coordinate site activities and subcontractors to execute works as per project schedules.
  • Interpret shop drawings and enforce correct installation methodology.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, Design Manager, and client representatives to resolve site issues efficiently.
  • Ensure site safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards are upheld.
  • Monitor progress against project programs and escalate any delays or risks identified.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, pre-starts, and safety briefings to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Oversee materials delivery, storage, and handling on-site to prevent losses and damage.
  • Manage site documentation including daily reports, QA checklists, and defect logs.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in façade installation site management.
  • A proven track record of delivering mid to large-scale high-rise/commercial projects in Sydney.
  • Strong knowledge of façade systems, fixings, glazing techniques, and relevant Australian building codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound understanding of WHS requirements and ability to enforce safety on-site.
  • Trade background or tertiary qualification in construction, engineering, or similar preferred.
  • Current White Card; EWP, Working at Heights, and First Aid advantageous.
