Austin Health is a major provider of tertiary health services, education and research across three campuses in the north-east of Melbourne.

The successful applicant will provide advice and consultation regarding the experience of consumers at the highest level of governance. This leadership role involves strategically planning and implementing recommendations from the Royal Commission into Mental Health services.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with direct personal experience as a family member/carer of someone with a mental illness who received services through the Victorian Public Mental Health system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice and consultation on consumer experience
  • Strategically planning and implementing Royal Commission recommendations
