Senior Farm Specialist

The key objective of this sales agronomy position is to provide expert support and technical assistance to farmers and producers in the Mackay region, focusing on developing strong customer relationships, understanding clients' business goals, and sharing valuable market information to improve their farming enterprises.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical guidance and support to farmers and producers in the region, enabling them to make informed decisions about agricultural practices.
- Develop and maintain a network of customers, identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing relationships through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales performance, and market trends to inform future business strategies.
- Hold a tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in plant nutrition, crop protection, and soil science.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively with clients.
- Have experience working in an advisory role related to agricultural chemicals and fertilisers, with a proven track record of delivering results-driven solutions to customers.
