We have opportunities available for Intensivists to join the ICU team at Mackay Base Hospital on a Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time basis.
Located in tropical North Queensland, Mackay is a vibrant regional centre servicing over 180,000 people. The region offers a relaxed rural and coastal lifestyle, with proximity to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. It boasts a thriving economy with diverse industries including tourism, agriculture, mining, and health.
The total remuneration for this role can be up to $483,619 (L24) or $528,464 (L27), including salary and benefits. Benefits include superannuation, leave loading, professional development leave and allowance, motor vehicle allowance, allowances for overtime and on-call work, incentive allowances, paid parental leave, Employee Assistance Program, discounts, and access to the Fitness Passport.
Employment conditions require vaccination against vaccine-preventable diseases as specified in the Role Description.
