Job Title

A General Practice is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead their team and assist with business expansion. The successful candidate will possess strong relationship management and problem-solving skills, with a flexible and personable approach.

This role involves taking full ownership of the Practice Management role alongside the Practice owner. Key responsibilities include:

  • Hands-on Practice Management and administration
  • Human resource management, including rostering, staff allocation, and productivity
  • Clinical software management (Best Practice, Cliniko, Cubiko, AutoMed & Gentu)
  • Clinical quality improvement management
  • Allied Health and Specialist liaison and support
  • Problem solving – Adopt a problem-solving approach to work-based issues as they arise
  • Participate in system development, implementation, review, and maintenance to optimise team function
  • Policy and procedure review and Accreditation
  • Carrying out recruitment process and Doctor Induction
  • Rooms management for new doctors leasing suites on a sessional basis and overall property management
  • Payroll and financial duties

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years General Practice Management experience
  • Knowledge of Medicare and RACGP's accreditation standards
  • Experience with listed software products
  • Well-developed computer literacy and IT skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
  • Dynamism and positivity about business activities, with participation in marketing opportunities
  • Good understanding of Medicare item numbers
  • Able to foster an environment of open communication and success for the business
