Business Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team to support a diverse range of projects and industry leading clients.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across various innovative agile projects, helping clients improve technology delivery consistency and alignment within an agile framework.

• Manage diverse sectors and projects, supporting programs of work.
• Deliver complex client engagements and aid project team leadership with client relationship management.
• Support engagement leads to build our footprint within clients or multiple clients, taking advantage of professional development opportunities.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of key client initiatives.

As a Business Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work across various clients and industries, performing business analysis services. A typical assignment may include:

• Working with stakeholders to elicit and define business needs.
• Working in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid frameworks.
• Collaborating with PMOs on multiple or singular projects streams or supporting large Enterprise portfolios.
• Defining epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
• Building or supporting business cases, product roadmaps, and customer journeys.
• Analyzing and developing options papers and recommendations.
• Providing task and project estimates, assisting with backlog grooming, and running Scrum ceremonies and stand-ups.
• Analyzing and developing organizational change plans.
• Performing as-is and to-be process and gap analysis.
• Working with users and providing training on new processes and systems.
• Planning, overseeing, and contributing to system and user acceptance testing.
• Assisting in post-implementation support.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 5+ years of client-facing business analyst experience.
• Australian Citizenship.
• Power App/Power Platform experience.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
• Qualifications and/or certifications in Agile, SAFE, IIBA, or BABOK.
• Problem-solving skills, including creative handling of complex problems.
• Developed numerical and analytical skills, with strong business acumen.
• Creativity to develop insights into client and/or industry challenges.
• Ability and confidence to provide balanced, pragmatic advice to senior managers and executives via strong communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated capacity to develop and adopt new approaches, ideas, and work practices.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting root-cause analysis.
• Easily adaptable to different situations, clients, industries, or processes.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a project team.
• Proven track record of conducting business analysis throughout the project life cycle.
• Prior experience with Jira, Confluence, Signavio, BPMN, or other process tools.
• Prior experience in implementing Customer Relationship Management tools.
• Prior experience in writing SQL queries is desirable.
