We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing vital support to students with disabilities in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing occupational therapy programs that promote social interaction, independence, and maximum inclusion for students with diverse needs.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Designing and delivering individualized occupational therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal outcomes
- Conducting assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to address these
- Providing consultation and education to families and staff on occupational therapy principles and practices
- Maintaining accurate records and reports to track student progress and program effectiveness
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is highly desirable
