Senior Technical Manager

Job Description:

This is a senior technical leadership role that involves overseeing the development of large-scale software products. As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead by example and ensure the highest standards of software quality and robustness.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions. This includes collaborating with product owners to generate user stories, acceptance criteria, and estimates. You will also provide guidance to junior engineers and assist senior engineers as needed.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining software documentation, ensuring that all code meets the required technical standards, and participating in agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers to develop and maintain large-scale software products
  • Collaborate with product owners to design and develop solutions
  • Provide guidance and support to junior and senior engineers
  • Maintain software documentation and ensure code quality
  • Participate in agile development methodologies
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in full stack software engineering
  • Leadership experience, even if not in a formal leadership role
  • Experience with Typescript, React, Node, AWS, and Agile development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of testing principles and secure coding practices
  • Experience leading teams of technology experts
