Indigenous Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Indigenous Personal Assistant to provide administrative support to our executives and senior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to executives, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Communication Management: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and other forms of communication, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Meeting Coordination: Organise and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, reports, and presentations. Assist with logistics for internal and external meetings.
- Document Management: Maintain and organise files, documents, and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in drafting and proofreading documents as needed.
- Event Planning: Support the planning and execution of company events, conferences, and other activities.
- Research and Reporting: Conduct research and compile reports on various topics as requested by executives. Assist in preparing briefing materials and presentations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the organisation.
Qualifications:
- Education: A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office management software and tools.
- Personal Attributes: Professionalism, reliability, and integrity. Ability to work in a team environment. Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respect for diverse perspectives and experiences.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with occasional site visits. Standard working hours are generally from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
