This customer-facing sales position involves building relationships with executive management teams to meet or exceed allocated sales targets across various industrial software, power control, and process control solutions. You will leverage Rockwell Automation's key areas of innovation and differentiation, such as Smart Manufacturing – Industry 4.0 technologies, Augmented Reality, best-in-class IIoT platforms, Advanced Analytics, MES solutions, and Connected Enterprise integrated architecture.
Responsibilities:- Achieve allocated sales targets by negotiating and bringing opportunities to closure while working with the broader matrixed Rockwell Automation sales teams and partners.
- Grow existing accounts and acquire competitive/new accounts.
- Improve customer satisfaction for assigned account packages.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned accounts through disciplined planning and sales execution processes.
- Lead stakeholders in the execution of tactical actions in pursuit of defined objectives.
- Spend at least 70% of time in customer-facing activities in support of account plans.
- Adopt a disciplined approach to managing sales opportunities and front log using available sales tools.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through regular contacts/visits and company-sponsored surveys.
- Analyze current business levels against allocated sales targets and provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales forecasts.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitors, market drivers, and RA offerings.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of outcome-based solutions selling experience. Software experience in PTC, ThingWorx, MES, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Analytics, Advanced Analytics is an added advantage.
