About the Role

This is a key position within our healthcare organization, responsible for delivering comprehensive maternity care to women throughout their pregnancy journey. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient education and support families within scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-level skills in patient education and experience working in antenatal and postnatal care outside of the acute setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a cross-cultural and complex environment.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Nurse and Midwife with AHPRA.
  • A minimum of three years clinical experience together with high-level skills in patient education.
  • Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture and history and knowledge of issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
