Job Opportunity:

The General Manager Clinical Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight of clinical and care programs. This includes Support at Home, Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and other grant-funded services.

This role requires the ability to lead the preparation and execution of audits, provide clinical leadership across home and community care programs, ensure compliance with reforms, and oversee workflows.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a Clinical Governance Framework to improve service quality and patient outcomes
  • Lead the preparation and execution of the Aged Care Reforms Audit to ensure compliance and effective implementation
  • Provide strategic and operational clinical leadership to allied health professionals to enhance patient care and safety
  • Ensure all clinical and allied health staff operate within a safe, compliant, and well-defined framework of care
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams aligned with aged care reforms to drive business growth
  • Maintain and oversee the clinical risk registers to ensure timely mitigation of identified risks
  • Implement and monitor a continuous improvement framework to drive service excellence and quality
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing or a relevant clinical discipline (essential)
  • Current registration with AHPRA (e.g. RN, Allied Health)
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Health Management, Aged Care, or Clinical Governance (desirable)
  • 7–10 years of senior leadership experience in clinical operations, aged care, community care, or healthcare
  • Proven experience in clinical governance, audits, and risk management
  • Strong understanding of aged care reforms, funding models, and regulatory compliance
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
