Fibre Splicer Position

We are currently seeking a skilled Fibre Splicer to join our team in Sydney.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Cable Preparation and Splicing: The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and splicing various cable sizes within a carrier network.
  • Enclosure Installation: The role involves carrying out works in various enclosure types, internal and external.
  • Testing and Fault Finding: Candidates must be able to test using OTDR and Power meters and have the ability to find and rectify faults.
  • Additional Skills: Adequate computer skills and experience in installation of internal conduit and mounting cabinets and equipment are advantageous. Maintaining WHS and quality processes is also essential.
Requirements:
  • Licence and Experience: An open cabling license with Fibre endorsements is preferable but not essential. Ability to travel within NSW is required.
  • NBN Experience: NBN experience and dark and live fibre experience are highly desirable.
