About this role
A challenging opportunity has arisen to join a team of experienced technicians in the field of telecommunications. This 24-month contract position will see you working on a wide variety of projects, including constructing and maintaining telecommunications networks across South Australia. You will also be exposed to other projects, such as building and maintaining client networks in interstate locations. The successful candidate will have a strong team approach and an attitude to do their best work.
Day to day you will be involved in:
Splicing and testing of various fibre networks
Working on battery energy storage systems
OPGW fibre works
Occasional travel to South Australia for project assistance
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience building telecommunication infrastructure networks with a working knowledge of optical fibre cable installation, splicing and testing, including data cabling and OPGW fibre. A current drivers licence is required, along with a demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment. Essential qualifications and experience include:
Certification 3 in Telecommunications or equivalent experience
