Production Traineeship Opportunity

The production department at Arts Centre Melbourne is responsible for delivering high-quality live performances and events. We are seeking three career opportunities for individuals who have a passion for technical production in the performing arts.

  • This traineeship is designed for individuals who have not yet commenced their professional careers.
  • Trainees will gain the required skills and knowledge in technical theatre production to achieve a Nationally Accredited Qualification.
  • They will also have the opportunity to work on various productions, including concerts, theater shows, and events.

As a Production Trainee, you will be employed on a variable-time contract, working a minimum of 25 hours per week. You will have the flexibility to choose your availability and prioritize your commitments outside of work.

During the 12-month traineeship, you will learn from experienced professionals and develop skills in venue operations, lighting, sound, and vision, as well as staging, broadcast, and multimedia.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a Certificate III in Live Production & Technical Services.
