Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Cost Planning, Estimating, and Procurement excellence in accordance with Australian Industry Standards.
  • Manage a team of Cost Planners and Estimators, ensuring their work is delivered to the highest standard.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze cost plans in our Cost Plan database.
  • Develop, maintain, and update Cost Plan structures, templates, processes, and reporting.
  • Ensure effective, value-for-money procurement and appointment of suppliers and sub-contractors.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable Cost Planning and Team Leadership experience (minimum 10 years).
  • Degree qualified in a commercial or construction-related degree.
  • Sound knowledge of cost planning, construction estimating, budget analysis, and cost control principles, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively investigate and produce Cost Plans where limited information has been provided.
  • Experience in managing and evaluating claims and variations and obtaining value for money outcomes.
  • Experience in the use of software packages, particularly CUBIT estimating software, Data Build cost management software, and Procore.
