This role oversees the deployment, maintenance, and scaling of cloud-native platforms across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor engineers responsible for deploying, operating, and scaling critical data platforms including Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, OpenSearch, caching solutions (Memcached, Redis), relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Kubernetes, and Zookeeper.
  • Develop long-term technical strategies to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of data infrastructure.
  • Make architectural decisions and drive innovations that align with business goals and technical roadmap.
  • Oversee operations in large-scale Linux environments balancing cloud and bare metal infrastructures.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing teams of 10+ engineers.
  • Deep technical expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and data platforms.
  • Proven experience in scaling and optimizing large-scale data services in high-growth environments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies AWS, GCP, OCI and Azure.
