Job Opportunity

The Spatial Analyst position is available in a dynamic organization that utilizes geospatial systems to drive business decisions. This role involves working with spatial data to provide insightful information and support corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct spatial data analysis, development of cartographic map products, and provision of accurate spatial information.
  • Apply GIS expertise to undertake project requirements, including data modeling, manipulation, visualization, and development of professional cartographic map products.
  • Utilize business analysis skills, such as consultation, process mapping, project management, and documentation development, as well as change management principles.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  1. Tertiary qualifications in Geospatial Science, Geomatics, or Database Systems, along with experience in Land Ownership and Titles systems.
  2. Proven expertise in GIS software (QGIS, MapInfo, IntraMaps) and related programming languages (FME, ogr2ogr, GDAL).
  3. Experience in SQL Server spatial databases, data manipulation, statistical analysis, and integrated systems, with knowledge of robust data management principles.
  4. Ability to create process documentation and data flow diagrams.
  5. Demonstrated initiative and innovative approach in providing effective solutions using spatial information.
  6. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with ability to gain confidence and set high standards of professionalism.
  7. Teamwork and customer service skills.
