Job Opportunity: Policy Support Specialist

The Allied Health Strategy and Policy team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide executive support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Briefing Preparation: Coordinate the timely preparation of high-quality briefings for senior leaders regarding allied health professional policy, workforce, legislative, regulatory, and clinical governance issues.
  • Project Administration: Provide administrative support through coordination of several concurrent project activities associated with planning, monitoring, research, collation of information, and report preparation.
  • Executive Support: Offer support to the Chief Allied Health Officer and Deputy Chief Allied Health Advisor, as well as general administrative support to the Allied Health Strategy and Policy team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience: Must have experience providing policy and executive support in a demanding environment.
  • Project Management: Knowledge and understanding of project management principles are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Critical Thinking: Critical thinking, research, and analytical skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using various IT systems and software is required.
