Job Description
  • This role includes managing PCO group blocks relating to inventory, payment, and group setup, excluding catering.
  • You will handle enquiries for group bookings via email or phone during your shift, communicate promptly, and provide a reply or confirmation within 24 hours.
  • Ensure timely input of reservations and data for the next three months for all group enquiries & bookings (within 24 hours).
  • You will handle any department issues related to groups, including but not limited to, follow-ups on prepayment, routing, and vouchers.
  • Prepare group information sheets (group movements) and brief Hotel stakeholders prior to group arrival.
  • Manage Hotel inventory in relation to group reservations and monitor potential wash of business.
  • Produce reports and statistics as requested by the Reservations Manager, including Group Wash and Business Turndown reports, 3-month Group Forecasts, and attending weekly pipeline meetings.
  • Manage Group payments, cancellations, rooming lists, and terms and conditions.
  • Maintain a precise filing system for all Group reservations and correspondence.
  • You will perform all reservations duties, including making and entering reservations.
  • Handle guest complaints and enquiries efficiently and professionally, ensuring the Reservations Manager is informed of any guest feedback.
  • Maintain control of guest history and report to the Reservations Manager.
  • E nsure clear communication with other departments for special requests or reservation-related matters.
  • Adhere to VIP and complimentary room night procedures.
  • Implement and update Accor brand and company standards.
  • Promote and maintain good public relations with PCOs, travel agents, airline companies, and commercial organizations, soliciting business for the Hotel.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Reservations Manager.
Requirements
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS is desirable.

The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000-$85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Please note that a full working right in Australia is required for this role.
