Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment providing customer service, administrative and human resources support services. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of people and culture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level detailed advice, guidance and support in people and culture processes and business functions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of people & culture initiatives and interventions.
  • Work independently with limited direction as to work priorities.
  • Consult effectively with key stakeholders including management, staff, industrial organisations and other external agencies.
  • Analyse and problem solve, preparing briefs, reports and submissions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Sound knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements relating to human resources management and industrial/employee relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately identify significant people & culture issues and communicate their business implications/risks.
  • Tertiary level qualifications in Human Resource Management, Commerce/Business, Psychology or equivalent workplace experience.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to travel within the District.
