Research Scientist in Designer Phage Development

A highly skilled Research Associate is sought to contribute to pioneering work in developing designer bacteriophages from metagenomic sequences.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply advanced molecular biology techniques to engineer and manipulate bacteriophages, leveraging cutting-edge tools such as Gibson assembly and CRISPR-Cas systems.
- Collaborate with Chief Investigators, students, and research partners to design and deliver high-impact research outcomes, driving innovation in microbiome research.
- Contribute to publications, grant applications, and the development of new research collaborations at national and international levels, cementing our position as a leader in synthetic biology.
- Hold or be nearing completion of a PhD in Microbial Genetics, Synthetic Biology, or a related field, demonstrating exceptional academic achievement.
- Demonstrate proven experience in molecular cloning and genome editing tools, with a strong track record of producing impactful research outputs.
