Seeking Research Scientist to Explore Phage Gene Regulation

We are looking for a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will design and implement cutting-edge assays to explore how bacteriophages regulate their life cycle and respond to environmental signals.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead molecular biology and protein-DNA interaction experiments (e.g. EMSA, protein purification, functional screens). They will also integrate laboratory findings with bioinformatics analyses such as motif discovery and comparative genomics.

  • Design and implement novel experimental approaches to study phage gene regulation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver impactful research outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD in Microbiology or a related field.
  • Experience in molecular cloning, protein-DNA interaction assays, or sequence analysis (phage biology desirable).
  • A track record of research outputs, including publications and/or conference presentations.
