
Business Operations Bookkeeper

The primary function of this role is to oversee the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations within an organization.
- Responsible for managing bank, credit card, and bank loan reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Ensure all creditor invoices are accurately entered and reconciled back to supplier statements on a regular schedule.
- Manage debt collection processes to minimize outstanding balances.
- Process purchase orders and enter creditor invoices in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure accurate stock and work-in-progress (WIP) calculations.
- Supervise administrative and reception staff, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed.
- Assist the CFO in responding to inquiries related to various business areas.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks for related-party entities.
- Provide executive assistance to the CEO on a daily basis, completing specific and ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information.
- Experience working in a finance department with a focus on stock and manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Hold relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications and possess excellent analytical skills.
- Have worked closely with senior management and successfully completed tasks on their behalf.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other departments to ensure financial accuracy, including operations.
- Prior experience with Xero is preferred but not mandatory.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, take initiative, and demonstrate a proactive attitude.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to support the wider team.
