Project Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our project development initiatives, focusing on environmental approvals and impact assessment processes.

This role requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to provide expert advice on environmental risks and opportunities in relation to project development and delivery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for managing environmental approvals and impact assessment processes
  • Provide technical support and guidance for projects related to environmental compliance and management

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating environmental impact assessment processes on complex projects
  • Familiarity with NSW State and Commonwealth planning and environment legislation
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or a related field

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering projects in the energy, transport, water, and/or defence sectors in NSW, coupled with strong commercial management skills and a deep understanding of environmental regulations.

Key Qualifications:
  • Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEP) or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
