Educational Program Coordinator, Children's Centre

About the Role
Federation University Australia is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join its team as a Room Leader at the Mt Helen Campus. This is a full-time, continuing appointment with a competitive salary of $70,530 per annum plus up to 17% superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a thorough understanding and application of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Quality Standard;
- Take responsibility for a group of up to 22 children between 6 weeks and five years of age;
- Be a positive role model to co-workers, children, students, and families and participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent meetings;
- Maintain and update children's records and ensure the timely and proper completion of all appropriate forms, documents, and records.
About You
The successful applicant will possess knowledge and understanding of early childhood development and be able to convey acceptance of and sensitivity to family and children's values and needs. They will also have knowledge of health and safety requirements specific to Early Childhood Education and organisational, writing, and effective communication skills, including conflict resolution skills. Additionally, they will be able to lead a team, delegate tasks, supervise others, and work as part of a team.
