About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Springfield Lakes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our educators in the toddler room, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs that cater to the individual needs of our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide a team of educators in the toddler room, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs.
  • Design, implement, and assess educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).
  • A current and valid check that confirms the candidate's suitability to work with children.
  • First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues, and management.
