Global Education and Exchange Specialist

Job Description:

The role of the Global Education and Exchange Specialist is to support the development, optimisation and enhancement of international programs, including exchange, international work-integrated learning, study abroad, short tours, field schools, and more.

This position focuses on enhancing and scaling global opportunities by building strong partnerships with a range of stakeholders. This includes providing support to faculties, through deputy deans, associate deans, and heads of educational services, and working closely with external stakeholders within and outside the university sector.

Additionally, this role will strategically utilise emerging trends and data to best identify opportunities for the university to participate in international activities and enhance programme delivery capabilities on an international scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the design, development, and implementation of international programmes
  2. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance on global education and exchange initiatives
  4. Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives to enhance global opportunities

Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant area that supports expertise in global education and exchange
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in global education and exchange, with a track record of contributing to the design and optimisation of programmes and initiatives
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess programme effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop evidence-based recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
