About the role

We have an exciting opportunity available due to an internal secondment. Our Corporate Secretary & Board team needs your skills and expertise to ensure governance obligations are met and our Group's system of internal controls is maintained.

You will support the Head of Governance in developing and maintaining a robust framework to meet regulatory governance requirements and principles of good governance. This includes supporting effective information flow within subsidiary boards and between boards and management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting agendas, minutes and meeting packs
  • Implementing delegations of authority
  • Maintaining accurate records and registers
  • Designing and maintaining subsidiary governance frameworks
  • Providing governance advice and research

What we're looking for

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Corporate secretarial experience (preferably) and relevant qualifications
  • Functional knowledge of implementing governance or compliance frameworks
  • Proven ability to build senior relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
