Canine Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to fill the role of canine transportation specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional care and service to dogs.

  • Transport dogs to and from our doggy daycare facility in a safe and timely manner, ensuring a stress-free experience for all parties involved.
  • Assist with greeting dogs and owners during pick up and drop off's, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Conduct group off-leash walks at our fenced-in paddock, providing exercise and socialization for the dogs.

The ideal candidate will possess a current manual driver's license, be physically able to walk around a paddock, and have excellent communication skills. They should also have an understanding of safety and overall dog care, as well as the ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive our manual vans to pick up and drop off dogs from our daycare facility.
  • Greet dogs and owners during pick up and drop off's.
  • Conduct group off-leash walks at our fenced-in paddock.
  • Carry out day-to-day office duties.
  • Supervise and manage dogs to ensure safe levels of play and minimize stress levels.
  • Interact with dogs in playgroups to provide basic training.
  • Follow basic training protocols.
  • Walk and train dogs unsupervised.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and ensure the wellbeing and environment of the dogs are maintained at the highest standard.

Requirements:

  • Current manual driver's license.
  • Able to drive for long hours.
  • Physically able to walk around a paddock and handle larger dogs.
  • Ability to handle large groups of dogs.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Confident around all sizes of dogs.
  • Understanding of safety and overall dog care.
  • Passionate about working with dogs.
