Chief Wellbeing Officer

We are seeking a visionary leader to champion student wellbeing and drive transformative change across the institution.

About This Role:
  • This executive role is critical to delivering student wellbeing initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an integrated wellbeing strategy that aligns services such as counselling, accessibility, safer communities, and chaplaincy under a shared mission of empowerment and equity.
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance on wellbeing issues relating to university students, including evidence-based and trauma-informed clinical practice, equity, and inclusion, psychosocial safety, and systemic work practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop frameworks and strategies for health promotion, prevention, and wellbeing that respond to drivers affecting student performance, engagement, and retention.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent in a relevant area (psychology, or an area relevant to mental health), registration or eligibility for registration with an appropriate professional association, and extensive relevant experience.
  • Blue Card and current Registration with AHPRA or AASW.
