Disability Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients with disabilities.

About the Role

This is an on-call casual position, requiring flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, afternoons, and overnight shifts. You will be responsible for delivering personalized, active support to participants with disabilities, including personal care, manual handling, and behavior support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to clients with disabilities
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Use manual handling techniques, including hoists, to support clients with mobility needs
  • Develop and implement behavior support plans to promote client well-being
Requirements
  • Current First Aid Certificate, including HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
  • Current unrestricted driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to use basic technology and software
  • Commitment to supporting and advocating for individuals with disabilities
