Disability Support Worker Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance to clients, including daily living activities and emotional support.
  • Help clients achieve their personal goals and maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Assist in social, recreational, and community participation activities, promoting client engagement and inclusion.
  • Manage challenging behaviors and provide tailored support based on individual care plans.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Community Care.
  • Experience working with clients who have complex needs in an Aged Care environment.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and current car insurance.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • NDIS Workers Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
