Job Description
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities, personal care, and emotional support.
  • Achieve Personal Goals: Help clients set and achieve their personal goals, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Social Participation: Assist clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities.
  • Behaviour Management: Manage challenging behaviours and provide tailored support based on individual care plans.
  • Environment Maintenance: Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Essential Requirements
  • Certification: Current Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Community Care.
  • Experience: Experience working with clients who have complex needs in an aged care environment.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and current car insurance.
  • CPR Certification: Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • NDIS Clearance: NDIS Workers Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Recent Experience: Minimum six months of recent experience in providing personal care assistance to clients in an aged care or community setting.
  • Medication Administration: Able to administer medication.
