This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team as an Health Development Advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of new services, including assessment and onboarding of new team members. Your duties will include:

- Referral management and allocation
- Ensuring referrals have the necessary documentation
- Conducting initial intake risk assessments and developing consumer profiles and service delivery plans.
- Ensuring all clients are added to current systems and programs.
- Auditing and correcting data conventions
- Auditing client and staff files to ensure compliance with NDIS practice standards.
- Developing and running consumer forums
- Maintaining organisational registers, including restrictive practices, continuous improvement, disaster management etc
- Assisting managers in streamlining processes and systems
- Supporting financial auditing, including sent and received invoices
- Attending various disability events and expos
- Running internal reviews and programs
- Onboarding team members
- Compliance of team members
- Upskilling team members/training
- Formal minute takings
- Training to policies and procedures

 

To be successful in this role, you will require exceptional communication skills, be organised, and be able to interact with a large group of stakeholders. You must be able to work independently and make decisions with minimal oversight from other team members. Collaboration with other team members is also essential. Our organisation has a strong culture, with no micro-management, and we are not KPI driven but rather quality driven.This position would be suitable for individuals who are:
