Job Description
We're seeking a highly experienced Bulk Logistics Manager to lead our team at West Footscray. As a key member of our logistics operations, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day and long-term strategic development of our Bulk Logistics Planning Team. Your expertise will guide the team in influencing change, leading by example, and driving operational efficiencies to meet supply chain objectives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the Bulk Team to ensure customer service teams have accurate information to manage customer expectations.
• Develop structured training methods and materials to support the Customer Service team and Logistic Planning team members to improve transport processes.
• Manage standard operating processes for transport planning and mentor the team in understanding and adhering to these processes.
• Develop and manage weekly carrier meetings and broader strategic quarterly and yearly meetings, managing areas of improvement and new opportunities.
• Serve as the 2IC for the Australian Logistics Manager role and provide leave cover for this position.

Your Experience
You'll bring a strong background in transport and warehousing, preferably from an industry like dairy or similar. You'll provide leadership for logistics operational activities and people management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of logistics and transport planning experience.
• Tertiary qualification in logistics/supply chain discipline or related experience in transport environment.
• Multi-site coordination experience.
• Computer literacy, including SAP knowledge and intermediate Microsoft applications skills.
• Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Successful track record in managing customer/supplier relationships.
• Innovative, proactive, and solution-focused.
