About the Role

We are seeking a Hospitality Service Assistant to join our team at Bupa Kempsey, a modern care home located in the Mid North Coast region of NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards
  • Complete required documentation and reporting
  • Respond to residents' queries and requests
  • Perform laundry duties, including loading washers & dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping or ironing linen
  • Assist with basic food preparation, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashing
  • Perform cleaning duties, including general cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential
  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
  • Understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised
