About the Role

To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning, and laundry. Use your fantastic food services and cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference by providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.

About You

Previous catering / food service or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable.

Duties

  • Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality, and hygiene standards
  • Complete required documentation and reporting
  • Respond to residents' queries and requests
  • Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap, or iron linen
  • Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas, and dishwashing
  • Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal, and living areas

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cleaning or catering experience is preferred but not essential
  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
  • You will have an understanding of work health, safety, and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised
