Job Opportunity

As a maintenance professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and proper maintenance of machinery and equipment in designated areas. This role requires a good understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.

  • Identify equipment faults and perform breakdown repairs to minimize downtime and production stops caused by machinery and equipment failures
  • Inspect, test, and maintain machinery, equipment in process and packaging areas to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform general maintenance work, including plant and building upkeep
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and protocols
  • Develop positive relationships with colleagues within the team

Key Requirements:

  • At least 4 years' experience in a maintenance or fitting role, preferably related to manufacturing
  • Trade qualification: mechanical fitter or equivalent
  • Experience working in an FMCG or manufacturing facility environment
  • Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and procedures
