This is a challenging role for an experienced governance professional to oversee risk management strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance practices, as well as experience in performing risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.

They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to various stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective compliance programs.

Job Description

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a GRC/Information Security role.

The position is located in Brisbane, Queensland, with some flexibility to work from home.

As a senior analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing governance, risk, and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and implementing effective risk management strategies.

Day-to-day tasks include performing risk assessments, auditing processes, developing compliance programs, writing policies, and collaborating with various departments to ensure that policies and procedures are followed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance practices.
  • Experience in performing risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance auditing.
  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISA or CRISC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
