Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Aboriginal Knowledges Centre Project at the University of South Australia. This is a full-time, 3-year contract opportunity that will play a critical role in the success of our Reconciliation Action Plan commitment.

About the Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for communicating regularly and effectively with the Office of Aboriginal Leadership and Strategy and key Aboriginal stakeholders to inform decision-making for successful project delivery. This will involve developing and maintaining relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders, including technical and specialist resources and external consultants.

About You

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager with experience in the construction or architecture space. Your communication skills are highly advanced, and you are able to negotiate and influence with tact and diplomacy. You are an expert at developing and maintaining relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience

* Degree-level qualifications and substantial experience in Project Management within the built environment
* Demonstrated experience in analysing stakeholders' needs and developing robust project briefs
* Proven ability to use effective Project Management skills to successfully deliver a portfolio of building-related projects
* Knowledge and understanding of technical issues and requirements for commercial buildings
* Demonstrated experience in the effective leadership and management of large project teams
