Secure Network Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Secure Network Engineer to support high-performance networks and maintain network performance, respond to high-severity incidents, and ensure issues are resolved within SLAs.

  • This role will involve implementing security measures, including firewall policies, access authentication, and disaster recovery planning.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring network performance and configuring network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs) for optimal functionality.
  • Detailed technical documentation and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements are also essential aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver change requests of varying complexity, collaborate with stakeholders, and support seamless network operations across teams.
  • Maintain network performance, respond to high-severity incidents, and ensure issues are resolved within SLAs.
  • Implement security measures, including firewall policies, access authentication, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Respond to and remediate active vulnerabilities across deployed Network and Security environments.
  • Monitor network performance and configure network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs) for optimal functionality.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure detailed change implementation scoping and planning in accordance with ITIL, NEC and customer best practice for successful delivery of change requirements.
