Job Title: Female Support Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Support Worker to provide care and support to a male elderly client in Lutwyche, QLD.

  • Assist with daily personal care, meal preparation, shopping, and light household cleaning.
  • Provide social support, companionship, and assistance with daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Personal Care:

  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help with toileting and continence management.

Light Household Cleaning:

  • Assist with laundry, ironing, and light housekeeping duties.

Social Support:

  • Engage in conversation and activities to promote social interaction.

Shopping:

  • Assist with grocery shopping and other errands.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous experience working as a support worker or similar.
  • Dementia care experience (preferred).
  • NDIS worker screening clearance.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Working With Children Check.
